Tracking "Time in Bed" post-Apple Health datapoint removal?

I have a goal ( bwiderski/timeinbed-ah) which has until this week pulled “Time in Bed” from Apple Health. This week I began using a new iPhone (17E) and suddenly the data sent to my goal was “0”. After a debug attempt with Bee I searched around and discovered that a year+ ago iOS18+ stopped providing that data. My old 12 Pro was running iOS 26.5.2 but still sending that data as of last Monday, so I guess they turned off displaying it in older models but didn’t remove it under the hood until newer chips arrived.

Now I’m looking for a replacement config to avoid needing to manually enter data daily. Available sources on my iPhone:

  1. Fitbit/Google Health - I can use IFTTT to get their “TotalTimeSlept” field, but that’s not what I was tracking. I want to count from when did I go to bed, even if I didn’t immediately fall asleep, to when I wake up for the final time.
  2. Sleep Cycle - starts tracking my time in bed when I start it running, but doesn’t seem to have any way to extract specific data except manual CSV requests.
  3. Ringconn Gen 3 - again, no available integrations.
  4. Could set up a Flic button to do something through IFTTT (click getting into bed, click getting up) but I’d need it to go somewhere that could use the press times to calculate the HH:MM between them.

For now I’m going with the Fitbit IFTTT to see how much it undercounts my time in bed, but looking for any other suggestions - ???
