had the same goal probably 2 weeks ago and can’t use the same name anymore

Yup. You’ll need to go to the bottom of your dashboard, click “Archived Goals,” and either restart the existing goal or delete it to free up the goal name.

beeminder.com could be helping you so much more here. For example by telling the goal is archived, and giving you a link to the goal for if you want to go and delete it.

Agree! I think for it is also really really interesting to find that an “Archived Goals” sections actually exists. I thought about this 100 times but never asked if it exists and it is super helpful to know that. When I look back at it I know wonder how I couldn’t find it because it is visible at the end of your dashboard😅 but yeah just didn’t see it. Super helpful now for the future to reflect on archived goals. Thank you!
